London's South Bank

Sunday afternoon on the South Bank of the Thames is a very lively affair. The walk from Waterloo Bridge to London bridge takes in so many sights and is such a nice way to spend the afternoon especially when you're with that special someone. Remember to take your camera!

Millennium Bridge, Mar 2002

Although it's called the Millennium Bridge, the bridge was only open for a few days in 2000 due to a problem with 'wobble'. It didn't open properly until 2002.

Knuckle Duster

The suspension cables run through these big knuckle dusters that are present all the way along the sides of the bridge. Can you see the little duck in the Thames?
